Now that the kids are getting back to school what are your plans for yourself. I am no longer that busy mom, but I know a lot of you out there are. I am a busy mom, but I am a mom to a 21 year old. My son is pretty much doing everything for himself. However, this summer went incredibly fast because I have been so busy with travel and working different events. So with that, it leaves a lot of room for not keep up with our goals, or maybe our work outs. We tend to put ourselves aside to get done what we need. To be a mom of young children now a days is incredible. You are always running one kid here and one kid there. It is a never ending struggle to figure out time and where you need to be. So as moms we tend to give up on ourselves not even realizing it.
So today is the day to get back on track. What is it that you can start to do to make yourself a priority? While the kids are away, what can you be doing for yourself to get back into the swing of taking care of you??? For our working moms, You have it tough as well. You are running a house hold along with running your kids here are there. What is it that you can be doing to prepare yourself while in the midst of your busy day?
For me, I could say I will get up earlier and work out or fix myself a decent breakfast. But after a long day and getting to bed, early is not my friend. So one of the things I can definitely do is prepare some veggie snacks. It is harvest time and we can get fresh veggies and fruits almost anywhere. So what I will do is cut up some fresh veggies and divide them out into snack bags, so as I am on the run I have something good to snack on. I will always have water with me and my gym shoes to go on a walk at lunch.
