Day 8 of my weight release journey!

So remember yesterday when I shared that when I have a success I will try to self-sabotage...last night was the test beyond tests.  I was filled with anxiety, and felt like I wanted to eat and drink everything in sight.  I was out of my mind.  So I did drink 3 bottles of water last night along with some sun chips and dinner.  For dinner I had scrambled eggs and sausage which was a huge dose of protein that made me full.  I went to bed at 9pm....I did not want anything else to jump into my mouth.  I woke up this morning feeling cranky but yet I am able to continue on my journey.

What's different this time, I am not going to sit around and beat myself up and fall off the wagon.  In reality, we have to eat in order to survive.  It's a matter of being prepared and ready for anything.  Last night I was not ready.  When I got home from work it was a little after 7pm, I was hungry and nothing was prepared.  I did not have any cut up veggies that I could stick in my mouth to take the edge off.  I find that when I have veggies cut up and ready to go, I will snack on those to keep me from craving something that is not good for me.

Today's daily tip from my book "30 Quick tips for Better Health" by Don Verhulst, MD...Drink your water....I just learned something today, drinking ten 8 oz. glasses of water or more a day with help detox your body.  That means, instead of starving ourselves and eating or drinking stuff that tastes terrible, all we have to do is drink 10 glasses or more a day to release the toxins.  People who drink two 8 oz. glasses of water before their meals with lose 5 lbs. more weight than the average dieter just from drinking water.  I think that is definitely doable.  If you are someone who needs to mix things up a bit...drink water with real fruit in it or cucumber, lemons and limes.  That will give you a true all natural flavored water.  Have a picture prepared in your fridge so all you have to do is pour.

As I am writing, I am realizing that it is all about being organized and prepared for what comes up.  Today I am asking you to do something for yourself to make this journey a little bit easier.  Organize something and tell me what happens for you.  I will take this on as well.  I will get my kitchen organized before the day is complete, so that everything is right where I need it to be so there are no excuses as to why I could not stay on task.

Alright my friends, there it is.....Let's drink ten 8 oz. glasses of water or more every day and get organized.  Who is with me?   Awesome....Lets DO IT!!!

Please share your stories and successes, or even your failures and share with us what you did to turn it around.  I can't wait to hear from all of you and your fantastic tips.  See you tomorrow!!!

I have been through a lot in my life just as everyone else; I have found that what I have gone through has always been for my highest good.  There is not a thing that I would change in my life; I would keep the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Sharing my lessons with you helps me to be the best version of myself.  What I have learned, I share so you are the best version of yourself.

When we stand together we are strong and tall making a more confident and loving world.  We are forgiving our past and embracing all that is learned.  We then are teaching our children to be human and the best version of themselves.
