However, we all know that I will have failures and I will have to share them. I am human, I will be in different situations, and sometime I will have to make decisions that may not go along with my goals. What will make the difference is how I use them as lessons and stepping stones. My ego tells me to be perfect, however, I know me, and there probably will be some mishaps. But I will be prepared and ready to continue with the journey.
So, let's get back to yesterday...I shared with you that I had graduation parties to go to. Well, I handled them very well and I did not feel like I was missing out. I drank a lot of water yesterday...definitely 1/2 my body weight in oz and then some. Instead of eating the snacks, I stuck with the veggies without the dressing...and for the main part of the meal, I stuck with a mixture of fruit and veggies. I did have dessert. I shared that I would make a choice between wine or cake....well the cupcake was the winner....and I was more of a winner when the frosting was whip cream. I really enjoyed this party because my focus was on the conversations and the people who were there. It was not about the food. I only ate when I was hungry. This was a big deal for me...I have too many photos to count with me stuffing my face at parties. This time it was definitely different. I did not beat myself up at anytime. I only gained more confidence that I can do this journey with all of you.
Who will be the first to share their weekend with me...I look forward to the interaction and tips from all of you as well.
Tomorrow is Monday; I will take pictures of myself in my gym clothes along with what I weigh in the morning. We should all be weighing ourselves first thing in the morn, no clothes and after we have pottied (if you know what I mean). That will give you your true weight. I can definitely feel a difference in myself and the way my rings feel. So I am pretty excited to see....If there is no change on the scale, I will pay attention to how my clothes fit and how I am feeling as a whole. We are making lots of changes in our journey, so our bodies will all be responding differently. One thing I know for sure, drinking large quantities of water is making a huge difference along with the self development I am doing.
We are worth it my friends. Keep up the great work...I can't wait to share tomorrow....the weekend is not quite over...so keep your goals in mind and keep making the right decisions for yourself. Whoever shares first tomorrow, I will have a special gift for you.
I can't wait to hear from you and what you did to combat the weekend temptations.
