One thing that really kept me going was all the water I was drinking. It is so important to drink half your weight in oz. Let me tell you, I drank about 8 bottles of water throughout the day. I also kept myself busy....I did not let myself get in front of the TV and waste away the day. I kept doing things that would make me feel good and relaxed. By the time it was bedtime, I slept great.
Today will be another big challenge. I am going to a graduation party...I have had some breakfast late so that when I go to the party I won't be hungry. I am hoping that will keep me from having the yummy junk food that will not be serving my goals or yours. I have already a plan of attack on how I am going to handle myself. I will allow myself to either have a glass of wine or a piece of cake....it depends on what it looks like and what my body is telling me. I would love that cake...but I am already thinking, how much fat in calories will be in the cake compared to the glass of wine....and how much more water do I need to drink to compensate. I will also be bringing my fat fighters that I take when I am going to splurge a bit. My fat fighters absorb 30% of the fat and 70% of the carbs...I won't be going crazy, but I don't want to set myself back by negative talk or feeling guilty. I find if I am truly being realistic, I will have more success.
