I love this particular inspiration because no matter what we have been through, things we have done in our past we can put them all in the past. Everything that has ever happened has always been for our highest good. Yes, I did say that. If you think about everything that has occurred in your life you have learned from it...correct? Well, then that has been for your highest good.
Too many times we don't know how to look at our past, or we have too many people telling us how bad we are from our past (mostly us) so we always see our past as bad. Today, start looking at your past as stepping stones, life lessons that have gotten you where you are today. Don't be ashamed of what you have gone through be grateful for it.
I was just talking to my son yesterday about what he has been up to the past few years. He had gotten himself into some trouble recently and he was sharing with me that he does not regret the trouble he got into. In fact it has helped him get control back into his life. He was putting himself in careless situations that could have caused great harm to him or someone else. He is glad that he got caught because now he is ready to get his life on track and have the next chapter of his life start.
I am sharing this with you because we have all done something in our past that we are not particularly proud of; however we can always look at it as a learning lesson instead of something negative. Everything had to happen in your life as it did to get you where you are today. It does not matter how bad the situation; it has gotten you where you are today. Who you are today does not reflect your past either....I know this is some crazy stuff to think about.
We were born to learn and grow on our own. That is exactly what we are all doing...use your life lessons to get you further into your future. Don't waste your time thinking about the past and what you should have done; see your past as the steps you needed to take to get to where you are. Really love and appreciate who you are right now and leave the rest alone.
Until we meet again my friends...
With all my love....Rita
