One thing I love to do with my business is participate in vendor events. Not only do I love to be in front of a lot of shoppers, but the vendors who I get to work with and learn from are amazing. I have learned so much from so many different people, I truly feel blessed.
However, from the inspiration that I have attached to this blog, you might be asking yourself where is this going...I am going to tell you. Today I had a great time being with amazing talented people. I learn so much about other companies and all the opportunity that is out there for people to just grab on too and create a life for themselves. We all pick our passion in our businesses and that is what makes us successful. Some people are aggressive, some people are passive, and others are just loving and kind and just want to share their business. Sounds good right????
Well, today there was a woman who was in the wellness business, helping women change their body shape. Sounds good enough right...well only up until the point when she approach another vendor minding her own business sharing what she loves like everyone else at today's event. This woman took it upon herself to tell another vendor how she was not dressed appropriately for her body type. The kicker is she is a total stranger to vendor #2. Can you imagine walking up to someone working and saying you are not dressed appropriately for your body type and I am an expert I can teach you how to dress.....OMG!!!!
I was flabbergasted at the audacity of this woman. We do have freedom of speech but not at the expense of another. How dare a woman who was in her late 60's to early 70's act that way; she should have had better manners than that. I feel like women are tearing each other down in such a way it truly hinders what we are all trying to do. Every woman lives for their family and what they can do to provide a great life. How dare another try to knock her down. We truly need to start loving each other instead of competing and tearing each other apart. I could not imagine in a million years telling someone that unless it was solicited.
My sisters out there, let's start loving each other and having each other's back...there is nothing that is so important that we need to break each other down just so we can get a head. Think about it...we have all torn down someone and we too have been torn down. We need to stop the madness.
Tune into my show this coming Monday from noon until 2pm cst....I will be talking about this subject...I feel it needs some serious attention. www.247thestream.com/news
