Today is all about letting go. Let go of any thoughts, situations, people that no longer serve you. It is okay to let go and move forward. Sometimes we get ourselves so wrapped up in what we are doing, we don't realize we get caught up in the part that may no longer be serving us. For example; I have a terrible habit of putting so much pressure on myself, I start to sabotage myself. I don't even realize I am doing it until I start to get a feeling of irritation and start to feel anxious and depressed. I will start to put weight back on and then I start to feel out of control. I am always trying to make sure my journey is perfect. However, nothing is perfect; things are messy and that is okay. The most important thing we need to remember is that our journey is our own, it does not matter what it looks like to others, it is our own. We are not in competition with anyone, it is our own journey.
Always remember to give yourself permission to let go. If something no longer serves you and moves you forward, let it go. No matter what it is, you can let go. Sometimes we feel guilty and we will hang on to whatever it is....but if you start to let go you will start to feel amazing and you will start to accomplish many things for yourself. Think of it as spring cleaning, we are getting rid of all the dust and grime along with stuff that we just don't need. There is nothing better than doing a deep clean and enjoying your rewards. It always gives a feeling of accomplishment along with feeling free.
