Spend some time in the presence of something beautiful today, even if it is only for a few minutes. Step outside and soak in some of the sun, or take a deep breath of the cool crisp air, or if you are somewhere warm, take in that nice warm air.
We spend so much time on what we want; we never really appreciate what we already have. While we are on this journey we have goals that we are meeting. We are focused on what we want and how we are going about to get it. To make it easier, we need to appreciate what we already have right now and continue to move closer to our goals and dreams. Easier said than done, otherwise we would all have what we wanted.
Consider that maybe this is the journey, the journey to learn so we can move forward. The journey maybe about realizing and seeing that we are already beautiful, strong and confident. If we start to appreciate who we are right now and what we are already offering the world, we would see how beautiful we truly are. In general people don't look up to us by the way we look, they look up to us by the way we carry ourselves. The more we realize that about ourselves the more we will make that true in our lives. We will meet the goals that we have set out for in this journey.
Thanksgiving has been rough in the sense that I have been celebrating with loved ones and having a fantastic time. I have been eating things that I had given up quite some time ago, along with drinking wine and having the time of my life. I notice that the people around me are having a great time as well, because I am not fixated on my weight, I am fixated on them. The problem is us...we don't love ourselves enough to know that we are good enough. We always say "when I lose the weight I will be accepted and loved", look around, you already are accepted and loved. The only one who does not accept you is yourself. I am so guilty of this. I put so much pressure on myself that I blow it.
The insanity can stop right now. Enjoy your holiday season with your friends and family. Every day you look in the mirror or pass a mirror or your reflection, tell yourself how much you love yourself. Sincerely tell yourself how beautiful and confident you are. Tell yourself how strong, smart and loving you are. When you do that, you have no choice than to start loving yourself and taking care of yourself. You will be surprised how your fluffiness will start to disappear. Know deep in your sole that you were put on this earth to do amazing things. You were not put on this earth to play small....be the biggest person you can imagine and watch your life turn around.
This blog helps me to see what I need to do as well. When I am speaking to you, I am speaking to myself. I love me, now I need to really accept who I truly am and keep moving forward no matter what. Please do the same for YOU!!!
Have a great day my friends...until we meet again.
