Good morning and Happy Sunday!!! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holiday season. So much is happening with all the festivities and all the wonderful things to do. One thing the holidays create is a lot of celebrating and light. I love to drive around and look at everyone's Christmas lights. It is amazing the creativity and how happy it makes me feel inside.
I found this quote today that has helped me to continue to live in my inspiration. Sometimes when we are so busy trying to fulfill our dreams and do whatever it takes, we can get discouraged. We keep moving forward day after day and sometimes we don't see the results as quickly as we think we should.
That is where I have been living for a few weeks. I keep plugging a long and I am not seeing the turnaround completely. I have been feeling like I have been on this journey for such a long time, you would think the progress would be greater....However; who said how quickly is it going to go. Ultimately we are not in charge. Yes we are on this journey, but this journey is teaching us what we need to learn. Who's to say how quickly or slow our journey is supposed to go?
One thing I am learning is I am not in control. I have this huge journey with my weight release, another journey with my business, another journey with my day job, and another big journey with this blog and being a motivational speaker. When I sit back and look at in the past 194 days what I have accomplished, it truly is amazing. I started this blog the end of May with not a soul reading it; now there is about 100 people following the blog and sharing it. I started this weight release journey wearing a size 18-20; now I am at a 12-13. I started my business journey almost two years ago trying to figure it all out; now I am busy almost every weekend doing events and wrap parties. I started to give up on my day job with no hope to making things better; I got a new doc along with a raise.
Things are truly happening...it's just not a fast as I was hoping. I have quite a journey to go and a lot to learn. I have such big dreams that I need the foundation under me to be the success I know myself to be. It is all happening, I just need to take the time and be patient with the progress and continue to live in the inspiration of the success I know I have.
Dream big my friends. Dream so big that nothing can stop you, then live in the success as if you already have it. That will keep you burning bright and accomplishing all your dreams. Make this a priority in your daily activities and see what happens.
