Hello my friends...I hope you had a safe weekend and Monday has been good to you thus far. It is snowing, so it is definitely good for me.
Maybe you have noticed you are not feeling 100% yourself. Maybe you are starting to feel a little blue or maybe even alone. Maybe you're thinking the holidays are upon us and we should be feeling awesome, happy and full of joy....
That is how I have been feeling lately...and I just came across this quote from Eckhart Tolle..."Stop looking outside for scraps of pleasure for fulfillment, for validation, security, or love - You have a treasure within that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer."
This is so true, and something that I needed read. Sometimes when we are working on ourselves, we get lost in the doing of it all. We don't pay attention to what we are accomplishing. That has happened to me. Sometimes, we need to look deep inside our own selves and know that we are perfect just the way we are. If we want to make changes to improve our quality of life....so be it....but we are perfect just the way we are.
We need to be able to love ourselves unconditionally in order to receive love from others. We need to be able to be with ourselves knowing we are whole and complete before someone can really come in to share our time. We need to be secure and confident no matter what we look like before we can show our security and confidence. There is no place where we can go in order to get these things for ourselves....the only place is to look inside ourselves...it is already there. We just have to be brave enough to harness it and use it.
My friends, we are beautiful just the way we are. If you have goals that allow you to make personal changes then that is up to you. But know deep down to your toes....We are whole and complete, we are secure and confident, and we are the most beautiful women on the planet. We don't need someone else to love us to know we are loved...It all has to come from us. We can do it!!!
