Good morning my friends....It's HUMP DAY!!!  Don't you just love the middle of the week...we just spent the last two days talking about the weekend, now we are going to spend the next two days planning the weekend.  Gotta love IT!!!!

It is so important to never give up on ourselves.  To many times we think that things are too hard when in reality it is just uncomfortable.  Things are only as hard as we make them.  It truly can be easy to be successful on our journey...as humans we make everything hard.

Here is the time that we can really dig deep into ourselves and make this journey easy.  We are coming up on the holidays very quickly.  Next Thursday is already Thanksgiving.  How crazy is that?  I can't believe how quickly it all came upon us.   But we can really take this time to show the world what we have.  We can prepare and make changes on purpose to continue on our journey.  We don't need to be in the group of people who gain between 10 and 20 lbs. by the time the holidays are over.  We can keep on our journey and be the ones who maintained or even lost a pound or two...It is totally up to us.

We can make it easy or we can make it hard.  It truly is up to us.  We can take each day one at a time and continue to work no matter what.  If you want to indulge a bit, make some modifications to your day.  Get up a little earlier and work out, drink extra water, or fast before the splurge.  We don't have to miss out on the party just because we are on a mission.  We can be merry with our friends and family too.  If you want dessert, don't take an extra helping of stuffing or potatoes....if you want the extra stuffing, don't have the dessert.

Always remember that this is your journey.  How you want your journey to go, you make the decisions.  When you do decide make sure you don't beat yourself up over it.  Take full ownership to your decisions.  Make this holiday season your best one yet.  Be responsible for your actions, if you fall off get back on, if you decide not today, then get back on tomorrow...it all up to you.  Make sure you are moving your body as well.  When you go for walks before or after the splurge you will feel better about yourself.  You won't have that heavy feeling inside you.

Just remember don't give up on yourself just because the holidays are upon us.  Make the changes you need for you to enjoy this season.  It would be awesome if you can share what you will do differently this season, so we can all be in it together.  I will be working out a little extra, and sucking down lots of water.  My down fall is the red wine, I love it and I will be enjoying it.  But I will also make some modifications so the wine does not plant itself on my tummy.  I will sip instead of inhale.  I will talk more and enjoy who I am with instead of focusing on the wine.  It will be great.   I am looking forward to the holidays this year.

Until we meet again my friends.  Have a great day figuring out your game plan.

Rita

I have been through a lot in my life just as everyone else; I have found that what I have gone through has always been for my highest good.  There is not a thing that I would change in my life; I would keep the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Sharing my lessons with you helps me to be the best version of myself.  What I have learned, I share so you are the best version of yourself.

When we stand together we are strong and tall making a more confident and loving world.  We are forgiving our past and embracing all that is learned.  We then are teaching our children to be human and the best version of themselves.
