Talking about the holiday season may be hard for some of you out there. It may be a time of year that is most difficult depending on what is going on in your life. Maybe you are a lone and don't have anyone to share this season with. Maybe you have lost loved ones recently or around this time of year. With happiness there is also a lot of sadness.
The inspiration that I am sharing with all of you is something that we all experience. Some of Life's BEST LESSONS are learned at the worst of times. If you just ponder that thought for a moment you may understand some of your greatest growth has been through the hardest of times.
My best friend had lost her daughter to someone who has no respect for women or life two years ago. He slipped a drug called GHB into her drink and brought her to his home; when she started to become alert he forced more GHB down her throat and killed her. This was the hardest time for my dear friend, however who she has become since is absolutely amazing. She is spending her time reaching out to young women to protect themselves against this horrible drug. She also is close to getting involved with a company that produces glasses that show the drug in it. This has been the worst of times for her and yet she has become stronger than any other woman I know.
We all have things in our lives that knock us down and we want to give up. But there is always something deep down inside that has us get up, brush ourselves off and start again. Women are the strongest people I know. Women always seem to find the strength to carry on in any situation and hold a family up and together. It's amazing how God has given man physical strength, but God has given women physical, emotional and mental strength.
If you are going through tough times or having a hard time dealing with the holiday season that is upon us...please ask for help. Contact a friend or someone you trust and make this hard time the best time of your life. It is okay to ask for help or let people know you are struggling; no matter what the situation is YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!
Until we meet again my friends...
With all my love...Rita
