Day 155 on our weight release journey!!!

Hello my friends.  I hope you are doing on this grey damp day.  Today is not so great for me...have been dealing with a migraine the past few days along with an asthma attack that is giving me a run for my money.  I wanted to share this because we don't always have the best days.  We have a lot of good days, but sometimes they are a little challenging.  Today is a challenge.

However, even though it is not perfect, I am taking care of me and I wanted to share this quote.  I have been working so hard on my goals lately; I sometimes put undue pressure on myself.  Hence the side effects of a migraine/asthma attack.  Anyway, I put pressure on myself because I have so many big goals that I am achieving.  I need to learn the balance and joy as I am going after my dreams.  Balance is so that I have the strength and energy to keep going, and joy to allow myself to enjoy the journey I am on. 

I know for myself, I have chosen to be on journeys in my life.  I don't want a quick fix, because quick fixes don't always stick.  You need a strong foundation to keep your dreams alive.  When you look back at what you have accomplished and really notice the work you put into it, you will never go back to the old ways.  But you also have to enjoy every moment.  You don't want to overstretch yourself to the point of not enjoying what it is you are doing.  It took me to get sick a little bit to realize I am not enjoying the journey right now.  I am putting way too much pressure on myself and trying to control the outcome.  I know my body will be at a healthy weight, and I also know that my business is and will always be successful.  I have to stop the crazy and enjoy the journey. 

That is what I want for all of you.  When we have our achievements, the joy goes really fast and then we start to put undue pressure on ourselves.  How much more can we achieve and get done quicker so we are successful fasters?  That is what we say to ourselves.  I know for me, I am always competing with myself.  Yes, that can be a good thing, but that can also be a sabotage thing as well.  Sometime the pressure can be too much and then you start to revert back to the old way of thinking and acting. 

As you are on your journey of successful goals, keep in mind to have goals that are achievable, don't compete with yourself to the point of making yourself crazy or sick.  Enjoy what you are going through the good, the bad and the ugly so that when you reach your destination you will appreciate all that you went through.
